Help fund travel scholarships for Mirror Memoirs Survivor Storytellers

Join me to help bring our Sacred Survivor Storytellers together this September.

In 2017, I had the profoundly healing experience of sharing my story in our audio archive. I had never been witnessed like that before, and it sparked the beginning of my journey with Mirror Memoirs. Along with sharing my story, later that year I got the opportunity to gather with 30 other QTIBIPOC CSA survivors and thus began the formation of Mirror Memoirs as an organizing project.

Since 2017, we have become a national organization, In 2020, I joined the staff as Co-Executive Director, and through the start of the pandemic, we collected more stories from CSA survivors for our archive and our membership grew to over 700 QTIBIPOC CSA survivors and over 1000 Accomplices.

The world has also drastically changed since then. For the first time since 2017, we are convening our Sacred Survivor Storytellers this September at our headquarters in Los Angeles. Of the 85 storytellers, 40 have RSVP'd, and 20 have indicated they need travel support.

$1,500 will cover the airfare, hotel room and taxi rides for one survivor to attend. Please help me ensure that everyone who would like to come together in person isn’t left out due to lack of funds.
